PANG Metal Primer prevents oxidation of prepared metal surfaces for maximum adhesion with rubber or PVC. PANG Primer is recommended for use on metal or concrete surfaces before Plastopang or Pangofol is applied. SHAKE WELL BEFORE EACH USE
PANG Primer minimizes oxidation on prepared metal surfaces, and provides an excellent surface when bonding rubber to metal or concrete with Plastopang or Pangofol. PANG Primer can be used to coat chutes, hoppers, drums and tanks prior to applying PANG adhesives. PANG Primer is very fast drying and can be applied with a brush, roller or sprayer. PANG Primer dries to a chalky gray finish and remains usable for 24 hours if primed surfaces are kept clean and dry. When PANG Primer is applied and is left for more than 24 hours, reapply PANG Primer to the primed surface and allow to dry.
COVERAGE
PANG Primer will cover 200 square feet (18.7 square meters) per quart (945ml) per single coat.

METAL PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
1. Shake well before each use.
2. Use a grinder with a twisted wire brush or sanding disc to prepare the metal surface. Remove all rust and oxidation. The surface should be as even as possible.
3. Clean the metal surface with Bufsol and a clean cloth to remove all metal shavings and dust.
4. Apply an even coat of PANG Primer to the surface and allow to dry for a minimum of 30 minutes.
5. Apply the appropriate adhesive for the type of material being used. Follow the instructions for the adhesive.
